Impact Lighting

Subtitle

Great light is what separates great photographers from ordinary photographers and controlling the light is one of a photographers most important jobs. Light is the main tool photographers have to create a three dimensional world on a flat piece of photographic paper.

Lighting obviously sets the mood of the portrait and therefore is the most important thing is to be aware of the characteristics of the light you have chosen. i.e. hard or soft.

Once I have chosen the main light source attachment I set to work lighting the subject, painting with the other lights, and where necessary add attachments. It is important to get the lighting right so you don't have to fix it in Photoshop.

In these videos we will show you 3 different shoots start to finish and cover the lighting step by step.

Here are some of the images captured during this shoot.
